Qualified negation as the key to understanding Kant's solution of the first antinomy in the critique of pure reason

The paper, presented on the 9th international Kant conference in Berlin, April 2000, shows how only the introduction of a new sign for predicate negation (plus corresponding background theory) allows for a satisfactory understanding of Kant's own view on the first antinomy concerning the spatial infinity of the world.

Work on it was part of a larger project on predicate negation funded by a DFG postdoc scholarship in 1997: thanx!
