Niko Strobach,

born in Braunschweig in 1969, studied philosophy at Münster and Edinburgh University between 1988 and 1995. 
1995: PhD thesis WWU Münster (published as "The Moment of Change - A Systematic History in the Philosophy of Space and Time", Kluwer, Dordrecht 1998), supervisors: Fernando Inciarte and Bertram Kienzle.
1996/7: DFG-Scholarship for a research project about predicate negation and privation.
1997-99 Assistent to Prof. Dr. Hermann Weidemann at WWU Münster.
Since January 2000 Assistent to Prof. Dr. Bertram Kienzle at Rostock University.
Areas of specialisation: Ancient and medieval philosophy, logic, metaphysics (especially philosophy of space and time).
Co-editor (together with Dieter Schönecker, Halle) of a series "introduction to philosophy" published by Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft, Darmstadt. Departmental responsibilities: library acquisitions, website, international exchange. Is married. Likes cooking, travelling and music.

- habilitation project "Relativistic Spatio-temporal Logic and the Problem of Free Will": Link

- research project on the tradition of scepticism in European thought, together with Zbigniew Nerczuk, university of Torun (PL).
